Webhooks for Banking Platforms

Digital Banking Platforms who have partnered with Pinwheel to bring Direct Deposit Switching solutions to their customers can now register for and receive webhook notifications.
Webhooks received by a banking platform are identical to those sent to customers, except that:
- Webhooks are sent for any customer activity initiated through the banking platform
- For all webhooks sent to banking platforms, the payload will include the
customer_idthe banking platform specifies when creating the link token for a direct deposit switch on behalf of that customer.
In this way, a digital banking platform can receive notifications about direct deposit switch successes, failures, and so on, and use this information to update data in the core system, trigger marketing flows, or otherwise better serve our mutual customers!
